BAS Certificate Program (Building Automation Systems)
BAS Certificate Program (Building Automation Systems Certificate Program) The BAS Certificate Program provides entry level knowledge for those aspiring to become Direct Digital Control (DDC) Technicians. The program starts with the fundamentals of Building Controls, and then works through general web based DDC networking knowledge. Next, it is on to control drawing fundamentals and a simulated Graphic User Interface (GUI) used to practice troubleshooting and DDC point identification. Finally, the students will be introduced to some common types of DDC programming. The last two courses of the program will allow the students to practice applying DDC technology to common pieces of commercial HVAC equipment. The courses making up the BAS Certificate Program are:
Each course purchase allows 60 days subscription to complete. Must obtain a 75% or higher to obtain CEU recognition. Course provides you with a Subject Matter Expert (mentor) to assist with questions and all course materials for the duration of the course.
